Cooking Instructions
Hot and Spicy Sirloin Steak Cooking Instructions
Grill Method:
Preparation: Remove the sirloin steak from the fridge 30 minutes before cooking.
Seasoning: Rub with olive oil and a fiery spice mix of your choice for a bold, spicy flavor.
Preheat the Grill: Heat your grill or pan to high heat.
Cooking: Grill the sirloin steak for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Adjust according to your preference for doneness.
Resting: Rest the steak for 5 minutes under foil to allow the flavors to settle.
Serve: Serve with spicy roasted potatoes and a cooling yogurt sauce to balance the heat.
Oven Method:
Preparation: Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan) or gas mark 6. Bring the steak to room temperature.
Seasoning: Rub with olive oil and your chosen spicy seasoning.
Searing: Sear the steak in an ovenproof pan for 2-3 minutes on each side.
Oven Cooking: Transfer the pan to the oven and cook for 10-12 minutes for medium-rare.
Resting: Let the steak rest for 5 minutes under foil.
Serving: Serve with spicy roasted potatoes and yogurt sauce for a balanced and flavorful meal.

Shelf Life: 12 days from date of delivery
Our supreme sirloins are vacuum packed to keep the meat fresh for longer. This also means the meat absorbs the spices and retains its moisture. These hot & spicy BBQ sirloin steaks are also suitable for home freezing, just be sure to defrost thoroughly before cooking. The easiest way is simply to leave in the fridge overnight.
