The story behind Devon Delights
Born from a vision to bring the local and flavourful food of Devon to each and every dinner table. It’s our mission to share and spread the delights of Devonshire produce and to celebrate and sing about the abundant nature of our beautiful county.
We’re a spirited, friendly bunch. We love a good laugh and to bond over some good quality food and drink when not working. We’re passionate about Devon, and passionate about the food. From our leader Will to Operations expertise Maria, we have a wonderful team behind us. Our team is a diverse group, each contributing their skills, professionalism and enthusiasm to the Devon Delights mission.
We hold great respect for the land and we’re dedicated to preserving Devon’s natural beauty for future generations.
Our fresh-farming promises:
- Locally and traditionally reared, ensuring ethical practices.
- Free from hormones and growth promoters, prioritizing animal welfare.
- Antibiotic use is limited, and only when necessary.
- Our livestock is fed on native grasses and natural forage, like wild weeds and dandelions.
- Preparation of foodstuffs takes place right on the farm for maximum freshness.
- We select only the finest Hereford and Aberdeen Angus cattle, chosen specifically for their quality and condition.
- Our local abattoir partnership ensures humane and quality processing.
- Beef is aged for 21 to 28 days, optimising its flavour and tenderness.
